“How much nearer to the center of Athens can you get? A few hundred meters away there is the mayhem of Syntagma Square, the absolute center of the city with all facilities, whilst you are in the peace and solitude of a cool flat. We hesitate to call it typically Greek because we do not know what ‘typically Greek’ is but certainly around the flat the environment is Greek. The information supplied for the flat is comprehensive and answered all our Q’s. One doesn’t need a car (outside the front door is pedestrianized anyway), because everywhere is accessible on foot or alternatively metro, tram, trolley bus or bus (make sure you look for the bargain tickets for 7 days or 1 day or even one and a half hours). Go enjoy Athens, we did!”
